Praise the Lord for a brand new year we have been given to show off His goodness, His glory, and His grace! The Word of the Lord declared over this year of 2024 is that we would experience MORE and MORE and MORE of God and all He has for us! Philippians 1:9 says, “And this I pray: that your love may abound yet more and more and extend to its fullest development in knowledge and all keen insight [that your love may display itself in greater depth of acquaintance and more comprehensive discernment]”.
As we walk in a greater revelation of God’s love for us, and have it do its complete work in us, we will discern His will with more accuracy than ever before and accomplish His mandate with outstanding efficiency!
Jenny and I want to remind you to join us as we set this year aside for God’s glory to be manifest in every area of our lives at DAYS OF GLORY – from January 01 – 21! 21 days of prayer, fasting and His Presence!!! These powerful meetings will be held at Faith Church Naples, and broadcast live over Faith TV – so be sure to not miss out!
The Lord gave us specific instructions for this year, and told us to make the following 3 things our priority:
- We will treasure above all else and cultivate our relationship with the Holy Spirit.
- We will treasure above all else and invest in our relationship with God’s written Word.
- We will boldly declare words of faith from the conviction of our hearts.
All 3 of these things work together powerfully to produce God’s perfect will in our lives. Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.”
Faith in the heart and on the words of a believer brings healing, breakthrough, restoration, and victory! Remember, the Bible says faith comes from hearing the Word (Romans 10:17). When we meditate on the written word of God, the Holy Spirit takes what we read and meditate on, makes it alive inside us and reveals its truth to us in a way that we can understand and appropriate it. This is wonderful because faith has the power to cause every circumstance in our lives to align with what God’s Word says. However, it’s not enough to just believe the Word in our hearts, the only way the power is released is when we speak out what we believe (Romans 10:10).
We literally turn our faith loose to see change when we release it through the words we speak. That’s what Isaiah 55:11 and Jeremiah 1:12 tell us. God watches over the words we speak – if they are His Words – He makes sure they come to pass, when we believe them in our hearts! We need to be expecting to see the things we declare! Increase in our knowledge of God, increase in walking in the fullness of His power, and increase in the financial harvest of every seed sown into His kingdom!
Which is why it’s vitally important for us to spend time reading and meditating on God’s written Word trusting the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth of who Jesus is and who we are in Him. We learn all the marvellous benefits we already have because of what was won for us, and the authority we have been given through the finished work of the cross. When our hearts become full of these truths – we are able to believe them and speak them out over our lives with an expectancy to see them become our reality! Praise God!
He promises that the expectation of the righteous will never be cut off (Proverbs 23:18) – so know what He says, believe it with all your heart, speak it over your life and expect to see it come to pass this year!
